Philippe Pacalet 於2001年以本名創立酒廠 ,他是已故自然派釀酒大師Marcel Lapierre的外甥,師承自然派葡萄酒宗師,據傳聞DRC曾經邀請其接任釀酒師,但是Phlippe卻辭退了眾人夢寐以求的機會,選擇獨自創業,希望透過自己的品牌貫徹釀酒理念。

Philippe Pacalet 創業前已有豐富的釀酒經驗,曾於Leroy學習釀酒,後來擔任Domaine Prieure Roch的釀酒師與葡萄園管理工作一直到1999年。Philippe Pacalet目前的莊園都是承租來的,依照 Philippe的規範以有機方式嚴謹的栽培,Philippe精心挑選葡萄園位於遍布金丘大小產區 在Beaune, Pommard, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny和Nuits Saint Georges都有葡萄園。
2015’ BH Score: 92-95 /Tasted: Apr 15, 2017 /Drink: 2030+ /Issue: 66 Tasting note: An intensely floral and earthy nose displays outstanding complexity on the dark currant and game scents that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent richness to the full-bodied and attractively energetic flavors that possess impressive mid-palate density, all wrapped in a powerful, well-detailed and strikingly persistent finish. This is a bit less youthfully austere than usual and is indisputably built-to-age. In a word, terrific.
2016’ BH Score: 91-94 /Tasted: Apr 15, 2018 /Drink: 2031+ /Issue: 70 Tasting note: This too is exuberantly fresh with its broad-ranging aromas of intensely earthy red currant, dark raspberry and lovely floral elements. There is excellent richness to the muscular and powerful big-bodied flavors that possess very good mid-palate density while delivering impressive persistence on the austere, serious and very firm finale. Patience will definitely be necessary as this is a classically styled and built-to-age example.
