BH Score: 94’ / Tasted: Jan 15, 2016 / Drink: 2028+ / Issue: 61 Note: from a tiny .08 ha parcel Tasting note: A relatively high-toned nose displays notes of pomegranate, cherry, and raspberry along with hints of wild flowers, earth and spices that are trimmed in subtle but not invisible wood. This is even riper than the Mazy with its toasty and palate coating medium weight flavors that are even more mineral-driven on the hugely long and slightly oaky finish. This is a robust Griotte that will also require plenty of cellar time.
