2018’ BH Score: 92 /Tasted: Jan 10, 2021/Drink: 2033+/Issue: 81/ Outstanding
Note: from a .64 ha parcel
Tasting note: A cooler, more restrained and more deeply pitched nose features notes of newly turned earth, underbrush, the sauvage and wild dark berries. There is excellent size, weight and muscle to the very rich yet well-detailed bigger-bodied flavors that display even better power on the youthfully austere and ever-so-mildly rustic finale. This is very LSJ in character and a wine to consider if you have the patience to cellar it for at least a decade.

Score: 92 / Tasted: Jan 15, 2018 / Drink: 2025+ / Issue: 69 / ♥ Outstanding
Note: from a .64 ha parcel
Tasting note: A much more deeply pitched nose is composed by notes the sauvage, humus and earth that add breadth to the plum and dark currant aromas. There is fine mid-palate density to the powerful and overtly mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors that culminate in a focused, balanced and youthfully austere finish. This is amply constituted to deliver excellent cellaring results yet be approachable after only 4 to 6 years.
2014’BH Score: 91 / Tasted: Jan 15, 2017 / Drink: 2022+ / Issue: 65 / ♥ Outstanding
Note: from a .64 ha parcel
Tasting note: A more complex and more deeply pitched nose reflects notes of red and dark berries, earth and sauvage aromas that are trimmed in a touch of wood toast. The textured, intense and delicious medium-bodied flavors display focused power and a subtle minerality that carries over to the attractively textured, lingering, firm and well-balanced finish. This is worth considering.
