此酒款以85%的Tempranillo、8%的Cabernet Sauvignon,以及7%的Graciano調配而成,葡萄摘採後細心去梗,依品種分別於不鏽鋼(Tempranillo)與木製酒槽(C.S.、Graciano)中發酵約11~15天,以保持其品種特色,並每天進行淋汁;接著於新法國小橡木桶中經過21個月的熟成
最後於2010年11月裝瓶。呈現出新穎現代的利奧哈風格,同時兼備了經典的傳統風華,稱其頂尖卓絕,當之無愧!

The 2005 Dalmau is composed 92% Tempranillo from 70-year-old vines, 4% Graciano from 60-year-old vines, and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon from 50-year-old vines fermented in large oak with malolactic fermentation in barrique followed by 19 months of aging in new French oak. Dense purple in color, it exhibits aromas of pain grille, graphite, lavender, spice box, and assorted black fruits with a hint of balsamic and chocolate. Savory, spicy, and well-balanced, this layered offering has plenty of silky tannins and a pure, seamless finish. It will continue to blossom for several more years and drink well through 2025.

The 2007 Dalmau (no 2006 was released) has a slightly different makeup of 85% Tempranillo, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Graciano aged for 21 months in new French oak. It offers up an expressive nose of sandalwood, mineral, balsamic, incense, black cherry, and blackberry. On the palate it displays considerable complexity but not the breadth of the 2005. Savory, ripe, layered, and long, this outstanding wine will offer a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2027.
