Winemaker’s Notes
Our 2010 Oveja Negra Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a pale greenish-yellow color
with an intense nose that offers grapefruit, green apple, and white peach aromas,
accompanied by a light minerality and citrusy notes such as lime. Moderate volume
on the palate with a sharp citrusy acidity and a pronounced persistence. Its acidity and
long finish make it ideal for ser ving with green salads, shellfish, sushi, and cream soups
such as corn chowder or cold cucumber soup, and dishes such as sea bass with
sautéed vegetables, shrimp with rice, and salmon pate. Serve at 10– 12ºC (50º–54ºF).
