Tasting note: Notes of roasted nut, acacia, carnation, green apple and citrus introduce racy and beautifully delineated middle weight flavors that culminate in a super-sleek, clean, youthfully austere, chiseled and bone-dry finish. While I very much like the delivery, at least some patience will be required in the hopes that better depth will progressively develop. I would underscore that my rating of this very pretty Meursault villages offers the benefit of the doubt that this will occur over time.

Tasting note: Smoky notes of mineral reduction, hazel nut and acacia blossom lead to attractively textured, well-detailed and vibrant middle weight flavors that conclude in a saline-suffused and equally dry finale. This too is a very fine villages level wine that merits your attention. |
