Nose: heather, lavender and polished leather…;
Taste: juicy barley with a beautiful lustre to the thin treacle outlining the vanilla-rich oak; all kinds of spices buzz and fret;
Finish: a succession of firm barley-bourbon notes drying towards the very death;
Balance: a trademark top range Aberfeldy I actually recognised as being from this distillery even before I looked at what sample I was tasting! Adorable. And quite beautifully constructed.

The Old Malt Cask正是此單一桶單一麥的最佳代表，所有的威士忌桶都由負責人親自挑選後於Douglas Laing & Co Ltd所屬之裝瓶廠以傳統方式採最能保持原始口感來裝瓶，我們選擇最理想的50％來裝瓶，是最能表現原酒特色且不經冷卻過濾方式的最佳狀態，我想喝過後的人都會同意的。
