Tasting note: Open, expressive and subtle with understated spice and black fruit notes followed by round, supple, delicious and nicely complex flavors plus a touch of finishing astringency that will probably round out with a few years of bottle age. This is really very elegant and delivers fine quality at this level.

2006 Vosne-Romanée - Vieilles Vignes
BH Score: 86-88 /Tasted: Apr 01, 2008 / Drink: 2012+ / Issue: 30
Tasting note: A spicy, pure, elegant and expressive mélange of red and black pinot fruit, earth and hints of soy and hoisin blends into delicious, cool and nicely precise flavors underpinned by moderately ripe tannins and a punchy finish that comes up at present a bit on the short side.

2007 Volnay "Santenots" 1er Cru
BH Score: 88-91 /Tasted: Apr 01, 2009 / Drink: 2014+ / Issue: 34
Tasting note: Not surprisingly, this is much more aromatically complex with ripe blue berry, plum and violet aromas introducing delicious, naturally sweet and layered medium-bodied flavors that possess good mid-palate concentration and lovely persistence on the textured finale.

2007 Vosne-Romanée - Vieilles Vignes
BH Score: 87-89 / Tasted: Apr 01, 2009 /Drink: 2014+ / Issue: 34
Tasting note: Here the aromatic profile is completely different with a notably spicy, pure and ultra elegant dark berry fruit and earth suffused nose that complements perfectly the delicious and relatively concentrated flavors that are textured, velvety and mouth coating, all put into lovely relief by just the right amount of bright acidity. There is a slightly firmer tannic spine compared to the Chambolle but both of these are very attractive villages level wines.

2008 Vosne-Romanée - Vieilles Vignes
BH Score: 86-88 / Tasted: Apr 18, 2010 / Drink: 2014+ / Issue: 38
Tasting note: A lightly spiced cool red berry fruit nose introduces delicious, round and admirably pure flavors that possess a lovely sense of underlying tension, all wrapped in a finish where the structural elements also seem to be right at the limit of sufficient phenolic ripeness though again, this impression is undoubtedly exacerbated by the presence of ample amounts of carbon dioxide.

2009 Chorey-lès-Beaune ♥
BH Score: 89 / Tasted: May 06, 2011/ Drink: 2013+ / Issue: 42 / ♥Sweet spot Outstanding
Tasting note: This is prettier still with ultra-pure and very fresh red pinot fruit that complements well the supple, vibrant and equally fresh flavors that are shaped by unusually fine tannins for what this is as well as very solid length. This is a beautiful Chorey and worthy of consideration as well.

2012 Chambolle-Musigny
BH Score: 87-89 / Tasted: Apr 15, 2014 / Drink: 2017+ / Issue: 54
Tasting note: This possesses a step up in aromatic elegance with its relatively high-toned nose of raspberry, cherry, rose petal and spiced herbal tea scents. There is a lovely sense of verve and detail to the lightly mineral-inflected flavors that possess a supple mid-palate contrasted against a moderately firm and mouth coating finish. Like many of these 2012s this should drink well young but should reward 4 to 7 years of cellar time too.

二十年後今天,三分之二的葡萄酒來自莊園內12公頃的葡萄園,這些葡萄園經過有機農業認證。Alex Gambal現已推出多款優質葡萄酒,獲得了業內人士和消費者的認可,已發展成為Burgundy產區內一顆耀眼的明星。

Tasting note: A discreet touch of wood frames very earthy and extremely fresh dark berry fruit aromas that telegraph the presence of ample minerality on the supple, round and intense medium weight plus flavors that possess so much gas that this is frankly hard to read though I like the complexity and solid length.

2009’ BH Score: 92-94 / Tasted: May 06, 2011 / Drink: 2024+ / Issue: 42 / ♥ Don’t miss!
Tasting note: This is also troubled by enough reduction to render the nose unreadable. There is however good vibrancy to the rich, serious and big-bodied flavors that possess ample power and weight before culminating in a mineral-driven and explosive finish that delivers outstanding length. This too should be capable of rewarding long-term cellaring, indeed patience will be a necessity.

Domaine Louis Remy始建於1821年,是一家在Morey-Saint-Denis村的很小的酒莊。
現任的女莊主 Chantal Remy 自 1988 起從父親手上接過家業經營並改名為 Domaine Chantel Remy。酒莊遵循傳統的釀造理念,風格內斂細緻優雅,柔和絲滑,從不過分強勁,但卻具備相當強 的陳年潛力。

Remy家族在1989年的時候把她們大部分在 Gevrey-Chambertin 的土地賣給了Lalou Bize-Leroy,變成了Domaine Leroy,比較不為人知的是他們還保有一小部分葡萄園,繼續生產葡萄酒。直到80年代末期,Chantal放棄了她的事業回到勃根地來繼續她們家族的釀酒事業,所以改名叫做Domaine Chantal Remy。

現在Louis Remy 還擁有0.35公頃Chambertin特級葡萄園,0.58公頃Latricieres-Chambertin特級葡萄園,0.66 公頃位於Morey-Saint-Denis村的Clos de la Roche特級葡萄園,0.75公頃位於香波=密絲妮(Chombolle-Musigny)的一級葡萄園,和少量的村莊級園地。年產僅 1 萬 5 千瓶,其中一半以上是 Grand Cru 特級園!

所有的田間勞動都是用馬來完成,以避免對土壤的破壞。所有的酒都在大的舊木桶裡完成,。釀酒的過程遵循傳統自然的原則,不添加任何人工酵母。酒在木桶中陳 年 20 個月,其中 30%是新木桶。 酒是手工裝瓶,裝瓶前既不過濾也不澄清,保證了完全純天然的狀態。


Chantal Remy started looking after the Domaine in 1988, shortly before it sold a large proportion of its vineyards to Domaine Leroy in 1989. A third of the initial holding is left, vineyards spread over some excellent sites in the Chambolle-Musigny and Morey St Denis communes. The winemaking is resolutely traditional; no herbicides or insecticides are used in the vineyards, a third new wood is employed for élévage, during a long cask ageing there is just one racking and bottling takes place by hand two summers after the vintage, without fining or filtration.
