Domaine Gerard Mugneret的前身是Domaine Rene Mugneret，由現任莊主Pascal Mugneret的祖父Rene Mugneret在上世紀30年代創建。Pascal Mugneret 於2005年正式接替父親Gerard成為酒莊新莊主。

葡萄酒大師Jancis Robinson在其官方網站上曾如此描述Domaine Gerard Mugneret「這是我近年來最大的驚喜，他的Vosne-Romanee村級出品令人印象深刻，對於這個明星產區的風土有著極其精準的詮釋，純凈而漂亮。」

酒莊經過三代人的努力便在高手如林的Vosne-Romanee村脫穎而出，在愛好布根地行家裡擁有極佳的口碑和聲譽。目前僅有13公頃左右的酒園，在種植過程中最大程度減少機械和化學物質對土地的損壞、園中沒有任何化學肥料，而是採用有機生物堆肥。村級使用30%的新桶比例，一級園和特級園則高達70%的新橡木桶。

每年產量約2-3萬瓶。因為其酒款在法國國內非常受私人客戶的青睞，其中70%的量分給私人客戶，其餘20-30%分給一些酒商、所以每年出口的葡萄酒非常有限。

Pascal擁有Vosne-Roamnee產區的超級大園Les Suchots，這個被Clive Coates鑑定為一星園的葡萄園由於面積頗大，釀酒者水平參差不齊，但是Domaine Gerard Mugneret的Les Suchots絕對是這個葡萄園內最傑出的作品之一。Mugneret酒莊在此0.4公頃的地塊年平均產量大約不足2000瓶，稀缺及緊俏程度可見一斑。

Tasting note: A cool, spicy and fresh combination consists of plenty of floral influences to the pretty red and dark pinot, Asian-tea and sandalwood aromas. There is exceptional richness to the notably more concentrated flavors that offer good length if only average depth on the mocha-infused finish. My projected range assumes that more complexity will develop with time in bottle as this wine has an excellent track record in that regard.
