Score: 90-92 / Tasted: Oct 08, 2016 / Drink: 2021+ / Issue: 64 / ♥ Outstanding Top value Tasting note: Once again the wood treatment is subtle but not invisible while also easily allowing the pure, ripe and slightly more elegant aromas of red currant, cherry liqueur, spice and humus to be appreciated. There is an almost lilting mouth feel to the somewhat more vibrant middle weight flavors that possess a bit more depth on the impressively persistent, mouth coating and firm finale. Fine quality here and this is recommended.
