介紹/說明 |
Jean-Michel喜歡新法國橡木桶,並開玩笑說每年都是“最大的橡木桶消費者”、『我們追求的是高貴香醇,散發微微香草的成熟風味』。 |

2021’ BH Score: 91-94/Tasted: Jan 10, 2023/Drink: 2033+/Issue: 89
Note: from .17 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines; fermented in a small 100% new wood tank
Tasting note: Bourgeon de cassis aromas blur the underlying fruit and wood notes. By contrast, there is good freshness and punch to the solidly concentrated larger-scaled flavors that are shaped by a firm core of ripe tannins on the balanced, youthfully austere and quite serious finale. Patience absolutely necessary.
2019’BH Score: 92-94 /Tasted: Jan 10, 2021/Drink: 2039+ /Issue: 81
Note: from .17 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines; fermented in a small 100% new wood tank
Tasting note: A moderately toasty nose offers up notes of markedly ripe yet still quite fresh aromas of red and dark currant, newly turned earth, game, anise and a hint of violet. There is excellent intensity to the dense and powerful larger-scaled flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the dusty, austere and focused finale that also makes clear that this is going to require several decades of cellaring to fully resolve the supporting tannins. At least some patience is absolutely essential.
2018’ BH Score: 92-95 /Tasted: Jan 10, 2020 /Drink: 2035+ /Issue: 77 / ♥Don’t miss!
Note: from .17 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines; fermented in a small 100% new wood tank
Tasting note: A subtly oaked nose is composed wildflowers, red cherry, cassis and plenty of freshly turned earth nuances. The rich, full-bodied and muscular broad-shouldered flavors possess a beguiling texture though make no mistake, this is definitely a powerful wine. Like a few wines in the range this needs to develop more depth but there is plenty of material for that to occur.
