Jean-Michel GUILLON,出於對葡萄酒的熱愛,1980年在Gevrey-Chambertin 村建立了自己的酒莊 。 在這裡,他師從當地酒農Rene Galland,從一片2.5公頃的葡萄園開始,逐漸發展到今天的13公頃土地。他的熱情和奉獻精神很快得到法國及世界傳媒的尊重和敬佩,他也被任命被為Gevrey-Chambertin 產區葡萄酒釀酒商聯盟主席。目前酒莊由 他與其子Alexis Guillon經營管理。

Jean-Michel喜歡新法國橡木桶,並開玩笑說每年都是“最大的橡木桶消費者”、『我們追求的是高貴香醇,散發微微香草的成熟風味』。
布根地的前三大新橡木桶買家,分別是 Domaine Romanée-Conti 、 the Hospices de Beaune & Domaine Jean-Michel Guillon。
如果說Gevrey-Chambertin 是以其緊實的單甯和結構而聞名,而Guillon的葡萄酒則更多是因其新鮮多汁的果味和持久深邃的口感而為人所知。

Tasting note: A densely fruited nose of dark berries is at once earthy, spicy and animale. The imposingly scaled, lavishly rich and sleekly muscled flavors are very firmly structured though not at all aggressive and the sheer depth of material is admirable on the hugely long finish that really fans out as it sits on the palate. This is impressive but very clearly built-to-age.

Tasting note: A potent nose reflects notes of reduction, wood toast and menthol. There is seriously impressive size, weight and power to the full-bodied and muscular flavors that display notably more minerality on the hugely long and serious but impeccably well-balanced finale. This is structured and indisputably built-to-age but it’s not especially austere or rustic.
