Tasting Note; Composed of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot, the earthy, spicy 2008 offers up notes of underbrush, red and black fruits and subtle smoke in its medium to full-bodied, solidly tannic, structured personality. It will benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age and keep for two decades.

Tasting Note: Aromas and flavors of blackberries, tobacco and cedar follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with silky tannins and a soft finish. Not a big wine but nicely balanced. Best after 2007. 12,250 cases made.

Tasting Note; One of the best efforts from this estate since the 1982, this wine remains fairly priced. It exhibits ripe blue and black fruits, a dense plum/purple color, good acidity buttressing a remarkably rich, fleshy, sumptuous texture, and oodles of smoky black currant and blueberry fruit. Ripe, heady and rich, this wine will probably benefit from 2-5 years of cellaring despite its precociousness and keep for two decades.

Haut-Bages-Liberal莊園是眾多五級莊中最值得購買或收藏的莊園之一。莊園近年來的推薦年份有著相當討巧的酒體結構和層次感,如果陳年10年以上或許表現更加。

Tasting Note ;
Dark in color, with intense aromas of crème de cassis, mineral and light vanilla. Full-bodied, with very well-integrated tannins and a long finish. Best after 2010.

Another sleeper of the vintage, this under-priced, beautifully made Pauillac exhibits a deep ruby/purple color along with a sweet bouquet of creme de cassis, licorice, tapenade, and spice box. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannin and low acidity, it is a pure, expressive wine to drink over the next 12-15 years.
