Tasting note: Here too there is a note of mineral reduction along with plenty of citrus elements to the spicy and smoky Granny Smith apple scents. The medium weight flavors are not nearly as dense though I do like the precision on the attractively textured and stony finish that is nicely complex and persistent. This offers solid but not exceptional quality and good as it is, the Perrières is clearly at another level.

Tasting note: Here too the nose reveals plenty of mineral reduction character on the white peach, green apple, pear and subtle wood scents. While not as refined as the Perrières, the medium weight plus flavors also possess a really lovely mouthfeel though with more evident power on the stony, firm and well-detailed finish. This is an elegant Corton-Charlemagne that should age gracefully for 12 to 15 years.
