Score: 87 / Tasted: Jun 15, 2016 / Drink: 2018+ / Issue: 63 / ♥ Outstanding Top value Note: aged half in wood, half in steel with only <10% of the portion in wood being new - all from Puligny vines Tasting note: An agreeably fresh nose offers up notes of pear, apple and citrus where the latter element can also be found on the intense and well-detailed flavors that conclude in a complex and lingering finish where a hint of bitter lemon appears. This is a quality Bourgogne that would make a fine choice for an all-purpose house white.
