隆河區經典酒廠-E. Guigal- 1946年由Etienne Guigal 一手創立, 座落於北隆河Cote-Rotie的Ampuis村莊, 建築取名為Chateau Ampuis, 也是現今Guigal的總部

酒廠最出名為位於Cote-Rotie 中精選地塊Cote Brune與Cote Blonde的三La酒款, 包括La Mouline, La Landonne, La Turque, 每年都被饕客爭相追逐, 陳年淺力十分雄厚,
若是買不起三La, 那麼由六個單一葡萄園葡萄所釀製的Cote-Rotie Ch. d’Ampuis是最好的選擇


Chateau d’Ampuis. 是Guigal在90年代買下的莊園,並以此為名,它是結合了Guigal自有的六塊高級葡萄園所產的葡萄,其中就包括-La Mouline,其他五個莊園也都是位在cote rotie最好的兩個地區Cote-Brune及Cote-Blonde. 堪稱是 La La La 的二軍酒

Shining in the vintage, the 2008 Cote Rotie Chateau d’Ampuis (which incorporated grapes from only 5 of the normally used 7 vineyards) offers ample black pepper, cured meats, wood smoke and cassis to go with a medium to full-bodied, layered and finely textured profile on the palate. Possessing good concentration and tannin, it should be consumed over the coming decade.

A wine that will be in bottle by the time you read this, the 2012 Cote Rotie Chateau d’Ampuis (it always incorporates 7% Viognier) will check in behind the sensational 2009 and 2010, but should be on par with the 2005 and 2003. Cassis, licorice, smoked meats, graphite and peppery spice all emerge from this beautifully concentrated, full-bodied, seamless Cote Rotie that has building, ripe tannin, terrific purity and a blockbuster finish. It will have 20-25 years of longevity.

A behemoth that satisfies on all accounts, the 2009 Cote Rotie Chateau d’Ampuis (93% Syrah and 7% Viognier) got a big “Wow!” in my notes. Deep, rich and incredibly layered, with massive Syrah fruit, bacon fat, espresso roast, licorice and chocolate, as well as a striking minerality that emerges with time in the glass, this full-bodied, dense and superbly concentrated 2009 should be given another handful of years in the cellar, and consumed over the following two decades.
