Domaine Michel Gaunoux 創建於1957年，現在由Alexandre Gaunoux & 母親一起經營管理。酒莊堅持傳統釀製方法;葡萄全數手工去梗，低溫酒精發酵。少比例新桶培養。

Pommard地區雖無特級葡萄園，但Michel Gaunoux的葡萄酒品質卻不輸特級酒，聞名世界。Robert Parker也曾公開表示對酒莊的尊崇:沒有哪個酒莊可以釀造出比Domaine Michel Gaunoux更優秀的Pommard產區葡萄酒。這座酒莊長期以釀造優質Pommard葡萄酒出名，更不用提傑出的Corton特級葡萄園和Beaune產區葡萄酒。這些葡萄酒適宜陳年，並會隨時間逐漸發展出複雜的風味。
他們擁有Pommard 最富盛名的 2個壹級園 分別是 厚實強勁的 Les Rugiens 與優雅細緻地Les Epenots。當然還有酒莊唯一的Grand Cru ;位於（Aloxe-Corton）（Renardes）特级園;不能錯過!!
