黑牛(BLACK AULL)蘇格蘭威士忌緣起於1933年10月24日，由Gleorge Willshire & Co. Ltd所創，2001年鄧肯泰勒購入這家公司，矢志要讓黑牛威士忌成為公司的品牌形象及蘇格蘭最佳威士忌。首次推出4500瓶30年威士忌(去年在"wine Plus"上市-很快就售完)，即獲得IWSC(國際葡萄酒烈酒大賽)2008年金牌及最佳調和威士忌大獎，接著推出的40年威士忌更於2009年取得麥芽狂人(Malt Maniacs Award)五顆星及Whisky Fun 91分的佳評。 (今年四月上市隨即搶購一空)

Black Bull 40 Year Old, the flagship of the Black Bull range is a superior blend of the finest Single Malt and Single Grain whiskies available from Scotland’s premium Distilleries. The spirit in this very first bottling of Black Bull 40 contains whiskies ranging from 40 to 44 years old from the following distilleries: Bunnahabhain, Glenfarclas, Glenlivet, Glenburgie, Highland Park, Miltonduff, Springbank, Tamdhu and Invergordon.

Black Bull 40 year old is 90% single malt and 10% single grain and is bottled at cask strength. The spirit is completely natural, without chill filtration or added colourant.

Tasting Notes Colour: Tawny
Nose: Sweet, Grapefruit, vanilla, iced buns, apples and mint
Flavour: Mild, juicy fruits, slight touch of oak and a soft coastal note. Raisins and cinnamon, exceptionally smooth
Finish: Vanilla, some kiwi fruits, freshly cut grass and a faint hint of aniseed
Comment: The best Bull yet! An exceptionally good whisky
